Teulu Tefeca - Celebrating 250 Years

Teulu@Trefeca

At seven o'clock on the dot a line of children walked quietly and confidently towards the stage in the marquee in the gardens of Coleg Trefeca. They went to their places and started to sing the opening song of the bilingual musical show "Teulu@Trefeca". The show was the highlight of the weekend to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Trefeca Family.

The audience almost filled the tent on both evenings and there was a warm and supportive feeling towards the young performers. The show's central idea was the meeting in an internet chat-room between a boy who was looking for information about the Trefeca Family and Evan Moses one of its original members. The show moved swiftly from song to history to sketch. Every major religious leader from the 18th century made an appearance together with Chris Tarrant and Anne Robinson from our own times.
